One of the narrowest definition of being faithful would be "not to leave your partner" or "not to love somebody else while you're together with someone". And of course, this is something which relates to romance relationship.
Now, people say that relationship is always sweetest when it's new, somehow it tends to turn bitter as the time flows, or you can say, flatter? It actually depends on how we manage the bliss of it, but apparently, a lot of relationships break because of the simplest things as this.
One out of millions relationship issues, is when you start seeing someone else. By this, I don't mean dating or something like that. You just like this certain person, either his/her appearance, or his/her personality. And no, you're not in love with him/her. And here's the most important thing that should be underlined. He/she, is not your boyfriend/ girlfriend.
The question is, why?
And then you start wonder and think about your current relationship with your bf or gf. "No, there's no problem in our relationship", you say. "We're good and we're not fighting. But why does this weird feeling grow towards him/her? I'm perfectly fine with my relationship."
And then it gets confusing.
People can translate this feeling differently, depending on how they see their relationship. Some could probably think "This isn't right. I should get rid of this feeling immediately" but some others would take this as a serious sign which then leads them to a break up.
These are why:
1. You're in a long distance relationship, so you can't meet each other as much as you want to.
2. You're in a stage of relationship where everything's just ok. But that's it.Flat.
3. You're bored with your bf/gf. This can be caused by either number 2, number 1, or both of them. Or you're just bored.
4. You're not really serious with your bf/gf. Period.
So those situations above are probably what makes you have this attracted feeling towards that someone else.
For those who want to get rid of that feeling, but don't know why, here are the facts why you shouldn't take it seriously.
First, your current feeling , it comes easily, and guess what? it goes easily too. You're either in a long distance relationship or you're relationship is just being flat right now. What you're feeling towards this someone is nothing, I'm gonna say it again, nothing, compared to your feeling towards your bf/gf.
Try to remember the sweet memories, what you've been through with your partner.
Remember why you wanted to be with your partner and remember why you're still with her/him.
Oh and if you were the chasing one, you can try to remember how much you have sacrificed to get her/him before you finally got together :)
Second, when you start putting attention of someone else, it means you're not putting attention of what you're supposed to, which is your relationship. Yes, that precious relationship you've been taking care of for so long. No matter how long you've been together, it's what matters more than seeing some other person, which doesn't guarantee that you'll get as much love as you've been getting from your partner.
Third, think about your current bf/gf, and how they would feel if they know about this issue.
I guess you can imagine how sad they would be.
Fourth, realize the fact that relationship isn't always about all the sweet things, it's about accepting each other and building this strong foundation that keeps your love alive. Don't give up on things too easily, especially the things you've been fighting for, like your relationship.
Cherish, and be grateful for what you have.
That's it for today :D
