What's your assumption?

When you start assuming, however it is, good or bad, at the same time you are creating a handful idea, which eventually turns into a bigger idea. It won't stop growing.
It won't stop growing until you finally acknowledge another idea, or a few other ideas. These other ideas, will determine how this first idea (your assumption) will live. If they're supporting your assumption, then shall it live longer and grow bigger, bigger than you expected. But when the other ideas are telling you, NOT to keep your assumption alive, then it will die, slowly or right away.

Is assumption bad?
Some people grow to learn that assumption is a bad thing, because they have had experiences with wrong assumptions, whether they were made by themselves, or people around them.
On the other side, some people love assuming. Maybe they were born with correct assumptions, I don't know. Or maybe, they just don't want to give up assuming things. Because assumption means: it can be wrong, but it can also be right. Some people take assumptions to a higher level: math and probabilities. Oh my, I'll just leave it there.

There are lots of things which can start assumptions.
It comes when you're afraid, or when you don't have enough faith. It comes when you don't know the truth but you're just dying to know. It can come from...anything, really.

Assumptions can be annoying too. It can be annoying when the assumptions you make are always wrong, and they end up giving you opposite outcomes, not the ones you wanted. It can also be annoying when people assume wrong things about you.

Assumptions can be dangerous. Remember Romeo and Juliet? There's an easy example of how one big mistake can come from an assumption.

But people can't live without assumptions, can they?
Because assumption comes from a feeling. And sometimes, good deeds or surprises come from correct assumptions too.

No, we will never have perfectly correct assumptions in our life.

One thing to keep in mind is, too much is never a good thing.
So don't rely too much on your assumptions, but don't stop assuming as well.

It's tricky as hell, yet it's a part of our life.

So what's your assumption, now?

  2. The mistakes that people create wrong assumption lies prior to making assumption itself.

The main mistake for me is that people tend to create an assumption upon incomplete clues, or in other words, creating it way too soon.
I mean, are you kidding me? A correct assumption is created from incomplete information, or I should call clues. And much of us tend to make an assumption before completing the clue. Man, creating a correct assumption with complete clues is hard already. And now you're trying to make something out of almost nothing? Good luck, Sherlock.

Other than that, assuming that everyone has the same level of intelligence, it's your personal feeling that biases the assumption.

Or else, you're just too dumb to even understand the basic rule of Tetris.

  3. Tricky, cuz people will never know whether the clues are complete or incomplete. Well most people assume based on incomplete clues, and i think there's no such thing as "complete clues" cuz if it's "complete" then it would imply that you can make a correct assumption based on the complete clues. Therefore it shouldn't be called complete. Clues are always incomplete.
